Tree Of Sores is a three-piece from Leeds, UK. Taking cues from Neurosis, Eyehategod and at times getting down with some Amebix; TOS has a sound that is dark, gloomy and at times scathing. TOS manages to walk a line between  doom and sludge, the a heavy, droning sound and male/female vocals that are gravelly and harsh.

It should be no surprise that Fall Of Efrafa, Cult of Luna and Isis are listed as influences, The intro is like the funeral dirge to set the tone for the next thirty minutes of super dark and at times tribal feeling music.

I you like any of the bands mentioned above and love dark, crusty and intelligent doom then download and support these guys by picking up a copy of their CD. Check out the track “Grave” below.
