CLINGING TO THE TREES OF A FOREST FIRE (Denver – USA) are without a doubt one of the most apocalyptic bands these days : between blackened grindcore and filthy sludge, these four tracks are the perfect blend of all the most extreme stuff you could find. For fans of Today Is The Day, Robinson, Admiral Angry, Khanate…

On the other side, NESSERIA (Orléans – France) is delivering their best material to date, still as intense and pissed than on their previous full-length, but in a dirtier and more complex way. For fans of The Secret, Buried Inside, Cursed or Trap Them.

This is the latest release of the year from Throatruiner Records. Mathias and Co, have done some excellent work and you would be an idiot for passing on them. Nesseria’s side of the split was a lot stronger and had some weird black metal leanings at times,This French makes interesting, melodic and super heavy hardcore at its best. “Mercure” is a heavy and melodic song that reminds me a lot of Cursed with some hypnotizing riffs that will stick around in your head for a while.   Clinging  To The Trees Of A Forest Fire  took a few listens to get into, “Lower Than Life is one of the more interesting tracks, a slow, sludgy song that crescendos into a blackend, grinding fever pitch, only to crash into a sludgy hell. In other words AWESOME.
