Pallbearer was shown to me buy a good friend of mine, after the proper six beers and a bowl he put on Pallbearer. The band is from Little Rock, Arkansas and play traditional Doom, It is very similar to Black Sabbath except slower, A LOT slower.  The vocals on this demo really surprised me, instead of the usual growled delivery I was treated to something soaring and powerful. The guitars are crushing and create a moody and dark atmosphere; Pallbearer really manage to rain down some heavy tunes that have me wanting more. The demo itself is three tracks, all clocking in longer than five minutes.

So spark one up, sit down and enjoy this amazing demo that shows a band full of promise. If you like your Doom in the vein of Pentagram, Saint Vitus, Pagan Altar then download this and go help these good southern boys out and buy some stuff. Look out for the full length some time this year.

Pallbearer – demo 2010 gets 4 kegs outta 5. They manage to evoke some strong emotions while keeping it heavy. Doom onward!
