Mogwai Announces North American Tour

Posted: November 5, 2010 by Is This Revolutionary? in Shows

Mogwai have announced a North American tour, and that they are coming to the Big Apple this Spring. They plan to play at Webster Hall on April 21st AND 22nd, 2011 at 7:00 PM. These shows are 18+ (sorry, kiddies.)

Mogwai is releasing an album come early 2011, titled Hardcore Will Never Die, But You Will [we’ll review as soon as we can get our hands on it]. Though the album may be new, these Scottish post-rock legends certainly are not. Hailing since 1995, they have released 6 full-length albums, 8 EP’s and 1 live album. Announced on October 27th, HWNDBYW will be the first album they’ll release not on Matador Records (with the likes of Bell & Sebastien and Sonic Youth). Rather, they will allow Sub Pop Records (a Warner Brothers Records offshoot) to distribute their work in North America.
