The Shelter Days by HENRYSPENNCER is a journey though the soundscapes and imagination of 26 year old french guitarist Valentin Féron mind. The album opens with a apocalyptic post rock anthem that quickly changes gears into an extremely heavy song full of crushing riffs and unique vibes. The Shelter Days does something that very bands can do, they take me on a journey and makes me feel like I am in a different place. Valentin impressive slide guitar really shows the various influences he draws upon, from A Silver Mt. Zion, to Earth and OM. If you are a fan of these bands or like really well done and innovative post rock DO NOT SLEEP ON THIS ALBUM.

for fans of: Earth, Grails, Silver Mt. Zion
